The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the “No Touch” artificial dry mist-forming saturation with biocide solution (H2O2) of spaces and surfaces in public and private areas.
Rentacs Srl has developed an innovative sanitisation method and protocol for the reduction of bacterial and virus loads present on surfaces, walls, floors, commonly used objects such as keyboards, mouses, screens, handles, etc.
The solution offered by RENTACS consists of dispersing a “dry mist” in the environment by atomisation of a mixture of water and disinfectant biocide agent (hydrogen peroxide).
This solution, known as “NO TOUCH”, makes it possible to reach and disinfect every surface present, even those defined as “negative” (the parts behind and under furniture, shelves, supports).
The effectiveness of the method, established by numerous international studies, makes it possible to reduce microbial and viral loads 1 million times more effectively than traditional methods of spraying or wiping.
The Rentacs method involves the dispersal of an immense quantity of micro particles of dimensions between 5 and 7.5 microns by atomisation with special air nozzles.
This atomisation increases the contact surface exponentially amplifying the effect of disinfection and reducing the consumption of disinfectant and contact and dispersal time resulting in a greater elimination of microbes.
The aerosol spreads rapidly over every cm² of free surface present and volume of air, without producing moisture, rust and residues.
At the same time hydroxyl radicals are produced (OH-) which are responsible for the biocide action of the product.
As soon as the hydroxyl radicals, which are strong oxidisers, encounter the membranes of the bacteria and virus that contain Calcium and Sodium Chloride (NaCl) they deposit; the OH- ion transforms the chemically stable chlorine in the membrane into active chlorine (CL₂) causing the destruction of the bacterial membrane and preventing the bacteria from reproducing.
The radicals liberated by the hydrogen peroxide breakdown the DNA, RNA and proteins of the bacteria and viruses. The small size of the compounds of the disinfectant increases the nucleation effect in the cytoplasm of micro-organisms. This is why the bactericidal effect is increased 1 million times (106) compared to normal treatments.
